characteristics and all
the members was unique
Set notation is a definite method of
describing that things belong in a set and
that don't.

Examples : A
set of odd numbers { 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17,19,21,23,25...}
Can we put ‘2’ inside the
collection? No, because ‘2’ is not odd number collection
Examples : A set of even numbers {0,
2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16...}
Can we put ‘1’ inside the
collection? No, because ‘1’ is not even number collection
Examples : A set or
collection of rainbow colors { red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo,violet
}
Can black
color become an element of the set?
No, because black is not element for rainbow color. Only the 7 colors can become members of the set.
So, each
members of collection have common characteristic and was unique.
